Liverpool: Fabinho reveals who he thinks is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League

Liverpool midfielder Fabinho believes that Reds shot-stopper Alisson is the best shot-stopper in the Premier League. Liverpool exceeded expectations last season as they attained a top four finish in the top-flight and reached the final of the Champions League where they lost 3-1 against Real Madrid.
One of the weak points for the Reds last season was their goalkeeping department. Both Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius did not convince the Kop that they were capable of holding down the first-choice goalkeeping position at the club on a regular basis. The latter also gifted Madrid with two goals during last season’s Champions League final.
The Reds struggled in the goalkeeping department since Pepe Reina left the club, initially on loan to join Napoli in 2014. Alisson has so far been astute in goal for the club this season and is one of the world’s best keepers.
He could finally be the keeper that the Anfield giants need as they look to win the Premier League this season and re-establish themselves as giants of European football.
Even though Alisson was guilty of gifting Manchester United with a goal during the Reds 3-1 victory last weekend, Fabinho believes that his Brazilian compatriot is the best keeper in the English top-flight.
As quoted by the The Echo, he said:
“When we entered the locker room, we even talked, but I did not even focus on that,” he added. “[Alisson] came to comment, but I said “no, bro, let it go”.

“These plays will always happen. And what are we going to talk about Alisson? He was very important in our qualification for the last 16 of the Champions League, days before.

“Without a doubt, he is the best goalkeeper of the English League. There is a lot of confidence.”
