Leeds United suffered their fourth defeat of the Championship season on Saturday as they were defeated 2-0 by Hull City at Elland Road. Jarrod Bowen was the scorer of both Tigers goals.  After several straight wins, the Whites promising winning streak came to an end.

Bowen scored from close range after 25 minutes and then went on to add his second during the 58th minute.

Norwich City’s 4-3 defeat at the hands of Derby County means that Bielsa’s men remain at the top of the standings and retain a three point advantage over the Canaries. In spite of the defeat, Leeds still remain on course to win the Championship title and secure automatic promotion to the Premier League for the first time since 2004. Biesla’s side will however have to learn from their mistakes to try and ensure that they finish above Norwich come the end of the season.

Leeds were unable to break through the Canaries backline with the likes of Pablo Hernandez, Luke Ayling and Tyler Roberts all having had shots cleared off the goal line.

Even though his side lost on the day, Biesla failed to find fault with his team. Instead, the 63-year-old believes that his side lost because they were too hesitant to take more shots from range.

As reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post, the Argentine said:

"The performance of the team and the kind of game we played was not particularly different to our other games.

"Usually we have three times more chances to score than the opponent and we dominate the game. This game was not different in that sense.

"Maybe we should have taken more shots from distance because our play in the centre put us in good positions to shoot from outside the box. We didn't create as much danger as we could have from the situations we had but in the offensive play I didn't see more of a lack of precision than usual."
