West Ham star Zabaleta reveals what his club can do to avoid losing momentum

Pablo Zabaleta has spoken about how he thinks West Ham can continue their good run of form. The Hammers recorded their fourth straight League victory last weekend as they defeated Fulham 2-0.
The East Londoners started this season in poor form and lost their opening four League games of the season. However, they have since recovered well and are now just two points adrift of sixth placed Manchester United.
Based on their current form, Manuel Pellegrini’s side can realistically target European football next season. Zabaleta has been a first-team regular in defence for the Hammers this season and has been a key reason behind the club’s resurgence.
Despite now being 33-years-old, the Argentine has proven that he still has what it takes to compete at the highest level and has closed down many opposition attacks.
Speaking after the game against Fulham, Zabaleta said as quoted by the West Ham official website:
“It is brilliant. Four back-to-back wins shows the team is doing really well but nothing is done. The worst thing we can do in this moment is just relax and think everything is done and drop the intensity in games and all this. We just need to keep focused on what we’re doing.”
Next up for the Hammers is a home fixture against Watford on Saturday. This promises to be an exciting fixture as both sides currently have 24 points and are in ninth and tenth place on the standings currently.
