Predicted line-up: If Klopp makes these three changes, Liverpool could destroy Watford

Liverpool have the opportunity to maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League table when they entertain Watford at Anfield tomorrow night.

The Reds currently sit one point clear of second placed Manchester City, although they have shown signs recently that they are really starting to feel the pressure.

Tomorrow night’s game against Watford is a vitally important one for Liverpool, and nothing less than a win will do.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Lineup:

Alisson Becker has played every minute of the club’s Premier League and European campaign this term and he should retain his position between the sticks. In the defence, Virgil van Dijk should partner Joel Matip once more at the heart of the backline with no update yet on the fitness of Dejan Lovren, who has been struggling with a hamstring problem.

At right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold is likely to feature ahead of James Milner after only making the bench against United following his recent comeback from injury. Andrew Robertson should certainly keep his position on the left side of the defence.

In the midfield, skipper Jordan Henderson could be afforded a breather and this would free up space for Naby Keita to return to the fray. Fabinho is likely to be tasked with the holding midfield duties with Georginio Wijnaldum and Keita featuring ahead of him in a three-man midfield pivot.

In attack, Roberto Firmino appears likely to miss the game after the ankle injury sustained against Manchester United, and this could see Mohamed Salah tasked with the role of leading the line as he has done many times this season.

Behind him, Sadio Mane and Xherdan Shaqiri could feature, and the latter will be keen to impress, given he has failed to contribute to the scoresheet since the excellent run in December, where he scored four goals in seven league appearances.

Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker

Defense: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson

Midfielders: Georginio Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Naby Keita

Forwards: Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Xherdan Shaqiri
