Predicted Tottenham line-up vs Burnley – Pochettino to make three changes

Tottenham Hotspur travel to Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon has they take on Sean Dyche’s Burnley side in a fixture that could present a real test for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

The Clarets have only lost one of their last nine matches in all outings, and they are unbeaten in the league this calendar year.

On the other side, Spurs already have one foot in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, and a win against Burnley would see them move to within two points of Manchester City and Liverpool in the Premier League table.

Injury:

Harry Kane returned to training almost two weeks earlier than everyone had expected. The England international, who has netted 14 Premier League goals this season, was originally ruled out until March, but recovered unexpectedly from an ankle ligament injury that he sustained against Manchester United on January 13.

As his recovery progressed quicker than most had expected, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino made it known that Kane’s return against Burnley on February 23 could be on the cards.

It may not be long until star midfielder Dele Alli also returns to training, and the trio of Ben Davies, Danny Rose and Vincent Janssen are still major doubts. Eric Dier was not in included in the club’s 3-0 UCL win at Borussia Dortmund last week and might be available for Spurs on Saturday.

Poch could be forced into utilising Jan Vertonghen at left-back – a ploy that he used to great affect against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League last week.

Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Starting XI at Burnley FC :- 4-3-3

Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris

Defence: Kieran Trippier, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen

Midfield: Harry Winks, Eric Dier, Moussa Sissoko
