Following Brendan Rodgers’ appointment as Leicester City manager, speculation has already started as to whether the former Liverpool boss will return to Scotland to raid Celtic during the summer transfer window.
The Northern Irishman will not be the most popular man at Parkhead, after jumping ship midway through the season, so he might find it difficult to prise any of his former players away from the Glasgow giants.
It seems as though that will not stop him trying, however.
According to a report from The Times, Rodgers is keen on luring Callum McGregor and James Forrest to Leicester.
The Sun, meanwhile, claims that the Foxes are ready to table a £25 million bid for highly-rated left-back Kieran Tierney.
The Scotland international has been arguably Celtic’s best player during the Rodgers era, and the Hoops will surely strongly resist any approach from Leicester for his services.
Celtic fans will be desperate to see him stay but it seems Tierney would be welcomed at King Power with open arms by the Foxes supporters.
Here are some of the reactions on Twitter…
