The international break is over and Leeds United were back in action today.
The Whites came into today’s match on the back of their 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United two weeks ago at Elland Road, which dented their hopes of automatic promotion, dropping them to third in the table.
Millwall, however, were hoping to put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone, but Rotherham United losing 6-1 to Derby County ensured that Neil Harris’s men remain one point above the relegation places.
Leeds were very lucky to have all of their international players returning to the club fit and ready to play, whilst they also welcomed the return of Pontus Jansson and Adam Forshaw following the duo’s recent knee injuries.
Jansson earned an immediate return to the first-team against Millwall, whilst Forshaw came on as a 75th minute substitute.
One player who was particularly impressive for Leeds today, however, was Pablo Hernandez, who scored twice to see his side return back into the automatic promotion spots.
Hernandez was brilliant today for Leeds with many of the club’s supporters questioning the EFL as to why the Spaniard was left out from the team of the year.
Across 32 league matches for Leeds, the 33-year-old has now netted 12 goals and chipped in with 11 assists.
Below are some of the best reactions form Leeds fans on Twitter:
Oh yeah @EFL nice call on not putting pablo in your team of the year. Was Stevie Wonder on your panel of selectors? #lufc #MOT #pablohernandez

How the living fuck Pablo Hernandez is not in team of the year is unreal.
He’s just beat Millwall.
Bet David Martin wishes he could have his 15 minutes back he wasted #Lufc— Talking Shutt LUFC podcast (@TalkingShutt) March 30, 2019
Back into 2nd, the Blades have slipped up, and Pablo Hernandez has just been Pablo Hernandez for 90 minutes. I’m off out. #LUFC
