Chris Sutton delivers his verdict on Liverpool’s Premier League title hopes

Former Celtic striker turned BBC pundit Chris Sutton delivered his verdict on Liverpool’s chances of winning the Premier League title this season.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are undefeated in their 13 outings in all competitions and are in the midst of a seriously good run of form at the moment.

After 32 Premier League games, Liverpool are two points clear of Manchester City, having played a game more than Pep Guardiola’s side, and the title race between the two is expected to be an enthralling one between now and the end of the season.

According to the BT Sport and BBC pundit, the Reds’ next three Premier League games could determine their chances of winning the title, and should the Merseyside outfit earn all nine points in those outings, it could be enough to get them over the line.

A big concern for Liverpool will be City’s relentless, and the defending Premier League champions simply do not look like slipping up.

The Citizens do still have tough matches to come against Tottenham and Manchester United, whilst away fixtures against Crystal Palace and Burnley could also prove to be challenging for the reigning champions.
