Some Liverpool supporters were frustrated with the showing by Adam Lallana during the Reds’ 2-1 Premier League win over Fulham on the road yesterday.
The England international was one of the standout performers for the Reds during the 4-2 league triumph over Burnley last weekend, and this saw him rewarded with a second successive start.
Much to the disappointment of the fans, however, the 30-year-old struggled to make any kind of meaningful impact throughout the game and he was eventually benched in the 72nd minute by Jurgen Klopp.
Following the clash, a number of Reds supporters were unimpressed with the showing of Lallana, and a few urged the board to consider the midfielder’s sale at the end of the campaign.
Was hoping for another Lallana masterclass but oh well, guess 2 good games on the bounce was too much to ask

Tbh, we should sell Lallana when he can still produce one good match to deceive the buyer!

I don't see space for Lallana – Sturidge and Origi for Liverpool next season. Klopp must sell them and get reinforcement.

Can we just get rid of lallana ? He does nothing but get in the way and lose possession. The man hasn’t scored in 2 years and is meant to be the attacking player in that midfield

Liverpool were widely expected to get the better of Fulham at Craven Cottage, but they managed to do so the hard way. Sadio Mane opened the scoring before the 30th-minute mark, but things became trickier in the second period.
Former Red Ryan Babel pounced on a rare defensive mistake from Virgil van Dijk for the equalising goal in the 74th minute, but fortunately, Mane was able to win a penalty six minutes later which James Milner converted.
With the triumph, the Reds have leapfrogged Manchester City at the top of the standings with a two-point advantage, but Pep Guardiola’s side still have the game in hand over Klopp’s men.
