With the international break coming to an end, clubs across Europe will be gearing up for a return to domestic action, but many teams will be left with nursing their injured stars.
One of those teams will be Everton, with Lucas Digne having sustained a thigh injury for France, according to Sky Sports.
As if that wasn’t enough, the Toffees concerns have worsened with another report from Sky Sports claiming that Yerry Mina was substituted after 43 minutes of Colombia’s 2-1 friendly defeat to South Korea in Seoul on Tuesday after picking up a hamstring injury.
Mina has only just got back in the team after a recent foot injury he had since his time with Barcelona.
The former Barcelona man, who joined the Toffees on a five-year deal last summer, has managed just 14 appearances in all competitions this season.
The 15-cap Colombia international centre-back could be set for another lengthy spell on the sidelines, and Everton fans are not too pleased with this, with some suggesting that the defender is “made out of glass” while some feel that he is proving to be a “major waste of money” for the club.
