‘Please sign him’ – Some Tottenham fans rave about £30m ace’s Champions League display

Hakim Ziyech put in an extremely impressive performance against Real Madrid on Tuesday night, as he helped Ajax overcome a 2-1 deficit from the first-leg, and Tottenham fans are urging their club to sign him.

In the previous leg, the La Liga side had won 2-1 win in Holland courtesy of goals from Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema which ruled out Ziyech’s equaliser.

But the Dutch side showed a strong and convincing performance to win 4-1 at Bernabeu and progress in the last eight.

It was Ziyech who opened the scoring in the seventh minute, as Ajax completed a 4-1 rout away from home to win 5-3 overall, and bring an end to Real Madrid’s European reign.

Every single Ajax player down to the goalkeeper starred for the team, but it was one player in particular who caught the Tottenham fans’ eyes.

Many Spurs fans were impressed with the Ajax ace.

Here are some of the tweets from Tottenham fans, urging their club to sign the talented youngster.

The Moroccan has been linked with move to Tottenham before, and Italian news hub Calciomercato revealed last year that the Dutch side would demand around £30m plus bonuses from any potential suitors to sign the 25-year-old.
