Predicted Leeds United XI vs Sheffield United

Leeds United will be up in action again this weekend, this time against Sheffield United at Elland Road, in a contest that is expected to be an enthralling one, giving the match could have a huge bearing on the two side’s chances of promotion to Premier League next season.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side were leading the table for about 24 hours after a 3-0 victory away at Madejski stadium against Reading on Tuesday night, but Norwich City maintained their two-point advantage over Leeds United in the Championship title race after a 3-2 victory over Hull City last night.

The Whites would have maintained their lead at the top, had the Canaries suffered a slip against the Tigers last night, but that subsequently failed to happen.

However, Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa will hope that his men produce a strong performance at home against the Blades and earn all three points.

Sheffield United cannot be ruled out of this encounter as they are also in brilliant form at the moment, and are facing Leeds on the back of a 2-0 win over Brentford in midweek – a result that made it four wins in their last five outings.

Team News

Speaking of injuries, Kemar Roofe and Adam Forshaw are still out injured for Leeds.

Other than those two, Bielsa has all of his men fit and available for selection.

Predicted Lineup: Casilla; Ayling, Jansson, Cooper, Alioski; Phillips, Hernandez, Klich, Roberts, Harrison; Bamford.
