Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb are reporting that Serie A giants Inter Milan have made a decision to sell Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal target Ivan Perisic during the summer transfer window.
Perisic, who was an integral part of the Croatian team that lost the 2018 World Cup final to France in Russia, was linked with a move to Arsenal in the January transfer window but that failed to materialise.
Now, the Italian news outlet are reporting that the 30-year-old’s future at the club is in doubt, and that he could be shown the exit door at San Siro in the summer, with a £30m price tag placed on the two-time Bundesliga winner.
Report from the Italian media outlet says, Tottenham are interested in his services, but the North London club are only ready to offer £21.4m (€25m), and it remains to be seen whether it will be enough to tempt the Italian outfit into selling.
Perisic is a top class player who would be an ideal signing for Spurs, but they will have to act fast if they are to beat Arsenal in the race for the winger’s signature.
The two North London clubs are expected to be active during the upcoming transfer window, and whichever side Perisic ends up signing for will undoubtedly have a very good player on their hands.
