Predicted Everton line-up (4-2-3-1) to face West Ham; Silva to make two changes

Everton make the trip to the London Stadium to take on West Ham United in their first Premier League game after the international break. The Toffees have shown a great improvement in terms of their defensive performances over the past month and manager Marco Silva will be hoping for another strong showing on the road tomorrow.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Lineup:

Jordan Pickford has been the undisputed choice between the sticks for Everton this term, and the England international should retain his position for tomorrow’s game. The 25-year-old has kept three clean sheets in the past four league games for Everton.

In the defence, Silva may consider at least two changes to the line-up with Yerry Mina and Lucas Digne making way. Mina was entrusted with the central defensive role against Chelsea in the previous round as Kurt Zouma was ineligible, but the latter should return to the mix this weekend.

In Digne’s case, he has picked up a thigh problem on international duty with France and this should see him sidelined for the game with Leighton Baines taking up the left-back role. As such, Seamus Coleman, Kurt Zouma, Michael Keane and Leighton Baines are the likely candidates to make up the backline.

In the midfield, Andre Gomes and Idrissa Gueye have formed an excellent partnership alongside each other. Gomes has been tasked with the role of linking up play with the forwards, whilst Gueye performs the tough-tackling duties, and the duo should line up together once more.

In attack, Gylfi Sigurdsson should be the undisputed choice in the number 10 role, with Richarlison and Bernard flanking him either side. Richarlison has managed to transform his fortunes recently, with goals in back-to-back games, whilst Bernard seems the better choice instead of Theo Walcott.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin appears the logical choice to lead the line after putting in a string of impressive performances over the past month. The 22-year-old has netted twice in the past four matches alone, but he has also impressed with his hold-up play and crossing abilities from wider positions.

Everton Predicted XI: Pickford, Coleman, Keane, Zouma, Baines, Gueye, Gomes, Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Bernard, Calvert-Lewin
