‘Sending us down’: Some Wolves fans react to 26-year-old’s performance vs Burnley

Sean Dyche’s Burnley side played host to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Turf Moor this afternoon, in what was a fairly drab encounter, with the hosts having just one shot on target compared to the visitor’s none.

Wolves headed to Turf Moor on the back of one win from their last five league outings while Burnley were playing on the back of four straight defeats, with their last win coming against Tottenham Hotspur in February.

Today’s match was Dyche’s 300th game in charge of Burnley, and a win against Wolves hands him the perfect way to celebrate.

It was an awful defensive performance from Wolves in the first-half, and they were never really in the contest against a stubborn Burnley side.

In fact, it was arguably their worst performance of the season.

Many Wolves fans took to Twitter after the match, and blamed one player for their defeat – Conor Coady.
