Many Rangers fans were left flabbergasted by Steven Gerrard’s performance for Liverpool Legends against AC Milan Legends on Saturday.
The Gers boss, as he did so many times during his days with the Merseyside outfit, scored a last-minute winner for the Liverpool legends team to see them beat the Milan Legends 3-2 at Anfield.
Gerrard showed there is still some football left in him, and it seems he managed to impress some Rangers supporters, who followed the match to see how their manager fared.
These Rangers fans were all saying the same thing, with some asking the club about the idea of having a player-manager at Ibrox.
Below are some of their best selected reactions from Twitter:

Everything we are missing…a midfielder able to run the length of the park and willing to shoot from outside the box ??

So we do have someone in the 1st team that can shoot from outside the box, who knew?!

Gerrard is a typical example of what Rangers are missing – a midfielder who is capable of running the length of the park and is willing to shoot from outside the box.
Rangers, who haven’t recorded a win in their last four league outings, travel to Parkhead next weekend to take on Celtic, and will be desperate to rack up their second consecutive victory against their bitter rivals.
