Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish linked with Premier League club that could suit him

On Tuesday, TheGuardian reported that Jack Grealish was attracting the interest of Crystal Palace.

If Aston Villa fail to achieve promotion via the playoffs then a move to Selhurst Park could be an attractive option for the 23-year-old playmaker.

Villa are currently on a record-breaking ten-match winning streak in the Championship which has catapulted the side to the play-off places. However, as the Birmingham club knows all too well from last year’s heartbreak, the competition is a cruel one and gaining promotion is difficult.

Grealish’s season ended in despair on the Wembley turf in May 2018, but a switch to the established Eagles would grant him an excellent platform for Premier League success and the chance to ply his trade in the top flight once again.

The technically-gifted midfielder has the uncanny ability to win a match out of nowhere, with tremendous passing skills and impressive close control.

A player of his quality would be at home playing in the Premier League, and playing with Roy Hodgson’s side would be a perfect fit.

The ex-England manager’s experience and stability are major benefits for those who play under him, and while Palace have been in the Premier League since 2013, Villa might face an uphill battle to beat the drop if they were promoted.

If Crystal Palace come knocking this summer, Jack Grealish would do well to accept a deal and take his game to the next level.
