Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez has praised rivals Leicester City ahead of his side’s trip to the King Power Stadium later tonight.
Newcastle face an in-form Brendan Rodgers side on the back of one win from their last five Premier League outings.
The Foxes on the other hand, have been top form with their new boss making a brilliant start to life since taking over from Claude Puel in February, and they head into the game on the back of four wins from their last five Premier League outings under the Northern Irishman.
As quoted on the Leicester Mercury, Benitez said:
“They are a good team and were before Brendan Rodgers got there. They have some very good young players, as well as experience with (Jamie) Vardy and (Wes) Morgan.
“Now they have more confidence and it will be tough for us.”
Leicester are currently seventh in the Premier League table, but are level on points with Wolverhampton Wanderers, and a win will temporarily see them move three points ahead of the Black Country outfit.
The Foxes are in seriously good form, with Jamie Vardy bagging two goals against Huddersfield Town last weekend, and he will be looking to add to his Premier League tally tonight.
