Report: 118-capped International ‘agrees terms’ over West Ham move

West Ham United supporters have been handed some good news with Besiktas midfielder Gary Medel reportedly agreeing terms over a summer move to join the club.

The report is according to Turkish news outlet Super Haber, which says the midfielder has agreed terms ahead of a potential move to West Ham after missing out on a January deal.

Medel was heavily linked with the Hammers during the January transfer window, but their move for the midfielder failed to materialise.

The club seems to have renewed their interest in the midfielder, however.

Manuel Pelelgrini will be keen to put together a team who can challenge for the top six next season, and the signing of the 118-capped Chilean would be a good way to start.

Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini should be very familiar with his compatriot’s abilities, and it all remains to be seen whether they can reach an agreement with the Turkish side this summer in order to sign him.

In other West Ham news, Pellegrini is reportedly planning a summer move for Besiktas midfielder Dorukhan Tokoz, according to a report in Turkish outlet Fanatik.
