Aston Villa-owned Scott Hogan is a summer target for Bristol City, according to a report from Bristol Post.
The striker is currently on loan with Sheffield United, registering a goal and an assist in five appearances for the Blades.
Bristol City are braced for a busy summer, and the Villa striker is reportedly one of their potential transfer targets.
Robins boss Lee Johnson seems to admire the Aston Villa striker, and could sanction a move for him this summer.
Hogan has flopped at Villa since making his big-money move from Championship rivals Brentford for a fee that could reach £12m.
Having just 10 league goals from 61 appearances for Villa since his switch from Brentford, the 26-year-old was allowed to leave the club January to join Sheffield United on loan, and he recently scored his first and only goal of the season for the Blades.
Tammy Abraham, who has been Villa’s first-choice striker this season, will be heading back to Chelsea at the end of the season and despite this, Hogan’s future remains bleak.
And a move to Bristol City might be just what he needs to help reinvigorate his flagging career.
