Report: Everton line up £15million offer to hijack rivals’ move for Championship ace

Everton will look to steal a march on their rivals for Birmingham City star Che Adams by making £15million offer, according to reports.

Adams has been in red-hot form for the Championship side this season, with 22 goals and four assists to his name so far.

Football Insider, however, are reporting the Toffees are hoping to seal a deal for the 22-year-old, with the likes of Southampton, Burnley and Norwich City also in the race for his signature.

Everton will be looking for a top-six finish next season, and Adams is certainly a player who they should splash the cash on this summer.

Burnley and Southampton both had £12million offers for Adams turned down during the January transfer window, according to Sky Sports, but the Toffees rumoured £15million would be too much for the club reject.

The striker joined Birmingham from Sheffield United in 2016, and has registered 118 appearances in all competitions for the club.

And Everton would undoubtedly provide him with the opportunity to reach the next level as a footballer.
