Serie A giants Inter Milan are showing interest in signing Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka, according to reports.
Xhaka is currently out of the Gunners team through injury, but he has been a mainstay in Unai Emery’s first-team this season.
However, Italian publication Calciomercato report that the north London club could face a battle to keep hold of the 26-year-old, with Luciano Spalletti’s Inter strongly keen on signing the midfielder.
Inter Milan are looking to strengthen the core of their team, with options in the middle of the park thought to be a top priority for the Italian outfit, and it’s claimed they’ve scouted Xhaka as a possible target.
Xhaka joined Arsenal from Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach in a £35million deal back in the summer of 2016, and has registered 31 appearances in all competitions this season with four goals and three assists to his name.
Inter might find it hard to tempt Arsenal into selling, however, especially with Aaron Ramsey set to join Juventus in the summer.
