Manchester United target Thomas Meunier has added further fuel to report linking him with the Manchester club this summer window.
The Old Trafford outfits have long been linked with a transfer for the Paris Saint-Germain right-back, who is a well known Man United fan.
Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly weighing up chances for the Belgian’s signing this summer transfer window and the Belgium 36-cap international admitted it was an honour to be linked with the Premier League.
The PSG ace told Belgian outlet RTBF as quoted via The Metro:
“The club and management know, I would like to finish my contract at PSG or why not extend it.
“If this is done, so much the better and if that is not done, we will see what is possible and we will go elsewhere.
“At the level of rumours, I am quoted everywhere. Only beautiful clubs come out: Manchester United, Juventus, (Borussia) Dortmund, these are just exceptional clubs.
“But that’s also the chance to evolve in a club like Paris-Saint-Germain because, even with little play time, they offer you some visibility.
“We know that the PSG rarely invests on players who are not worth it in quotation marks.
“So I hope to find a nice base if PSG does not want to prolong the adventure.”
The Belgian ace still have a contract with Paris Saint-Germain that runs until next season, but Meunier could yet snub offers from rival clubs and sign an extension with the French giants.
United manager is reportedly eyeing a big summer of signing as well as departures, with Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez in line to be shown the exit way.
United have a transfer kitty up to £200million to spend on new acquisitions this summer, but are believed to have pull out in race to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.
However, announcement of their first summer signing is on the horizon after the club agreed a £15m deal with Swansea for Daniel James.
