The Celtic starting XI to play St Mirren in Paisley

CELTIC travel to Paisley this afternoon (Thursday) to face St Mirren on Boxing Day. Neil Lennon will field the same starting XI that overcame Aberdeen 2-1 at Paradise last weekend.

As such, Fraser Forster again starts between the sticks, with Jeremie Frimpong, Christopher Jullien, Kris Ajer and Bolingoli lining up in front. Likewise, Scott Brown, Olivier Ntcham and Callum McGregor fill out the Hoops midfield, with Ryan Christie, Odsonne Edouard and James Forrest occupying the final third.

There is one change to the manager’s bench, however, with Moritz Bauer replacing Bayo in the dugout. Moreover, Craig Gordon, Greg Taylor, Nir Bitton, Leigh Griffiths, Mikey Johnston and Tom Rogic also start as subs.

The last time the sides met was at the end of October, when second half goals from Mohamed Elyounoussi and James Forrest sunk the Buddies 2-0 in Glasgow. A win today would ensure the Scottish champions enter the final fixture of 2019 with at least a five-point lead at the top of the Premiership.

Kick-off at St Mirren Park is 3pm. All the pre-match build-up and live up-dates will be available on the official Celtic Twitter – @CelticFC
