£2m midfielder drops major hint he’s moving to Celtic

Celtic transfer target Ismaila Soro looks to have confirmed his move to Celtic on Instagram following a post on his private social media account.

The midfielder has been edging closer to a move to Celtic Park after the club reportedly agreed a £2million fee with Bnei Yehuda, the Daily Record reported earlier this month.

Twitter user @p_bov1, Soro shared a post on his Instagram story that he was tagged in over the weekend with the caption, “Ismaila Soro Next Player of Celtic.”

With the Ivory Coast midfielder sharing that post on his story, it now looks just a matter of time until he is officially unveiled as a Celtic player.

And reports, according to The Herald earlier this week backs this report up, with the tabloid already confirming the delay in his deal to Celtic is due to his visa.

While this deal does appear to be taking longer that is should, the main thing to take away is that Soro appears to be closing in on a move to Celtic, and he is a player who will make a huge impact to Celtic’s midfield.

The midfielder was described as an ‘energetic’ and ‘fearless’ player who is incredibly strong when it comes to breaking up opposition attacks and setting his attacking teammates up for a counter.

Celtic need a player of his calibre in the push for another domestic treble this year, and while he may not be able to immediately force his way into the side, his energy and fearlessness is something that we feel will be hugely important for the Hoops.
