In-form Celtic Star Could Leave Parkhead in SHOCKING £30m Deal

According to reports, Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers is preparing a £30 million bid for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.

The report is according to the Daily Mail who claim the Northern Irishman is looking to reunite with his Celtic’s £9-million signing from Paris Saint-Germain at Leicester as he plots a £30million bid for the striker.

Rodgers is keen on the 21-year-old – who has been in red-hot form this season – and is expected to make a move for him the summer, if report bears fruit.

The France u20 international has netted 16 goals and assisted 15 others in 31 games for Celtic and the forward has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months with Crystal Palace reportedly interested.

Celtic are looking to make it nine Scottish Premiership titles in a row come end of this season and aren’t looking to part ways with their hitman midway through the campaign, but the Foxes are ready to wait till summer and are preparing a bid of around £30million.

Leicester are currently second in English top-flight table and are looking to challenge Liverpool for the title at the moment. Should the odds keeps being in the Foxes favour this second half of the season, they will definitely be playing in the Champions League next season, and Rodgers believes having a quality striker like Edouard will come handy in terms of attacking depth.

Rodgers have in his ranks the likes of Jamie Vardy, Ayoze Perez and Kelechi Iheanacho in their attacking ranks.
