According to The Daily Mail, Jack Hendry is leaving Celtic for Australia side Melbourne City in Australia.
The 3-caps former Scotland international has been reported to have agreed with the deal to join the Australian club on Friday and will fly out for his medicals this weekend.
Friday, the 31st of January this month turns one-year the centre-back joins Celtic from Dundee in 2018 for a transfer fee according to the Daily Record to be worth £1.5 million.
Hendry joined Celtic when Brendan Rodgers – now the manager of Leicester City in the Premier League – was then in charge of the club, and the 24-year-old, however, was expected to live up to expectations at Celtic Park.
However, Hendry has found life at Celtic difficult to come by and has failed to make an impact for the club in all outings.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Hendry has played just once for Neil Lennon’s side this season, and the centre-back has only 27 appearances to his name for Celtic across all competitions since joining from Dundee, as stated on the club’s official website.
Meanwhile, The Scottish Sun has claimed that Lee O’Connor will be leaving the club on loan this month, with Partick Thistle one of the sides said to be interested in the young full-back’s signature.
