According to reports, Celtic and Rangers target Tino Kadewere has been subject to “a number of firm bids” from top sides as January interest in the forward continues to intensify.
Get French Football News report that Qatari outfit Al-Rayan have lodge an €8million bid for the Zimbabwean striker, who can also be used as a midfielder.
The French tabloid adds further that Ligue 1 giants Olympique Lyonnais have also begun talks with Le Havre over a potential move for striker.
Celtic and Brazilian outfit Flamengo have both previously been touted as having submitted ‘concrete approaches’ for Kadewere, with the report in Get French Football News also claiming Le Havre have received bids from a host of other clubs.
News of Al-Rayan’s bid for the striker alongside reported offers from other top clubs will certainly caught Celtic’s attention, and Neil Lennon’s side must now ensure they react as soon as possible if Kadewere does fit the club’s bill.
However, the Glasgow club’s reported interest in 24-year-old Andraz Sporar seems they are after a high profile striker, but even with that, the club has to make a quick decision as to which man he wants to bring in.
