Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has criticized Leeds United goalkeeper Kiko Casilla on Sky Sports Football after he made a mistake in the 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The Peacocks failed to score any goal at the City Ground while Sabri Lamouchi’s side struck twice to register an important victory.
Bielsa’s side suffered their second consecutive defeat in the Championship with Wigan Athletic also securing full points against them in the previous league encounter at Elland Road.
They are currently second at the league table with only goal difference keeping them ahead of the third-placed Fulham.
Former Dutch striker Hasselbaink criticized Casilla for his role in the opening goal and believed he should have done better.
The ex-Real Madrid goalie could not put up a better effort when Ameobi delivered a fierce shot to beat him at his near post.
“If you analyze perfectly where Ameobi hits the ball from it should never be allowed in your goal where it goes in. I’m sorry but it’s poor goalkeeping, it should be an easy save with his right hand,” He told Sky Sports.
The experienced shot-stopper arrived at Elland Road in January 2019 and looked very good in the beginning.
However, he is now struggling to maintain his previous form and is becoming a serious issue for the Leeds manager.
