Sam Allardyce heaped praise on Aston Villa star Jack Grealish who has been making headlines in the Premier League this season, as per Talksport.
The former Everton manager claims that the 24-year-old has the ability to play for top European clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona.
He said on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast:
“Jack is the key element in everything Villa seem to do.
“He’s scored more goals and got more assists this season, he’s looking like a real player and he’s handled the Premier League like he should have always been there.
“I think that’s going to create a massive interest across the European clubs because of the quality of play he shows on the ball, the calmness, the final pass and now the finish as well.
“It wouldn’t be beyond a clubs like Barcelona or Real Madrid to look at him, the only is question is could he handle it at a club of that size?
“And I would like to think he could, based on how he has stepped up in the Premier League for Villa.”
Grealish joined Villa at the age of six and progressed through its ranks to make 146 league appearances for the first team.
The England international played an important role in the Villains’ promotion bid last season, registering 36 appearances in all outings with six goals and eight assists to his name for the club – (Transfermarkt).
His performances have seen a great improvement this season with Grealish already have to his name for the Villans in all outings nine goals and seven assists – (Transfermarkt).
The midfielder’s amazing performances have sparked interest from Manchester United who want to bring him to Old Trafford in the summer.
It will be interesting to see whether Dean Smith’s side can keep hold of the attacking midfielder or a big European club snaps him up in the summer.
