According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal are still interested in signing PSG left-back Layvin Kurzawa who has been with the Ligue 1 side since August 2015.
The France international has fallen down the pecking order at his current side with Juan Bernat now getting the lion’s share of game time.
Kurzawa’s contract will also expire in the summer and he is unlikely to extend his stay at Parc des Princes. The Gunners are interested in securing the defender’s services as a free agent once the season ends.
The London side couldn’t sign the former Monaco player in January due to lack of funds, and they brought in Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares on loan deals.
Mikel Arteta’s side have been struggling for a good left-back after Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasinac both got injured. And while Saka has been impressive, the Spanish boss looks keen to bolster in that area.
Arsenal are currently ninth in the Premier League table after suffering six losses and 13 draws this campaign.
They look unlikely to finish in the top four as they are eight points behind Chelsea in fourth place. And to the disappointment of their fans, they are already out of the Europa League so they cannot avail another route to the Champions League now.
They got themselves in a good position in the first leg of the round of 32 when they came away with a 1-0 victory at Olympiacos.
However, the Greek side outclassed Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates to win on away goals and proceed to the next round of the competition.
