Chelsea are closely monitoring Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson who is currently on loan at Sheffield United, according to Daily Mirror.
The 23-year-old has been impressive for the Blades this season, with 10 clean sheets to his name in 27 Premier League matches.
The Blues are keeping a close eye on the England U21 international as they aim to solve their goalkeeping problems.
The Pensioners’ boss Frank Lampard has been featuring Willy Caballero, the Argentina international who has been at the club since July 2017 and has made 31 total appearances, in favour of Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Kepa came to the London club in 2018 from Athletic Bilbao costing them a record fee of £72million in 2018.
But now he seems to have fallen out of favour with Lampard recently, who has been dropping him to the bench for the previous four league matches.
With Caballero ageing and Kepa out of favour, the Stamford Bridge side look in need of new options.
Chelsea are also reportedly looking at Barcelona’s goalie Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, who is expected to be on the move this summer after he fell out with the Catalans’ superstar Lionel Messi.
The English manager is said to be a big admirer of Henderson, who has experienced loan spells at Stockport County, Grimsby Town, Shrewsbury Town and Sheffield United.
The Red Devils’ academy player is valued at around £25million with his contract expiring in a couple of years.
