An unnamed Premier League side make £10.75million bid for Real Betis striker

According to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, an unnamed Premier League side have tabled a £10.75million bid for Real Betis striker Loren Moron, with Sheffield United and Tottenham Hotspur also interested in the player.

The 26-year-old performed well last campaign for the Spanish side, netting 10 goals in 36 league appearances. His figures look very impressive if we consider the fact that he completed 90 minutes only nine times.

Jose Mourinho’s side will likely want to add a striker this summer as a back-up for Harry Kane while the Blades could also be in the market for adding some more firepower.

However, the report has not mentioned which English side have tabled an offer for the Spaniard who has a £45million release clause.

Loren started his youth career by joining the ranks of CD Pena Los Compadres and later played for UD Marbella and CD Vazquez Cultural.

He joined Real Betis in January 2015 and for several years, he played for the reserves in Segunda Division B. The 26-year-old has earned 99 senior appearances for his side so far, scoring 27 goals and creating seven assists.

Spurs have a top-quality striker in Kane but they need a back-up to the English forward. Moron seems a good fit for them, and he would likely be satisfied with the odd cup match and substitute appearances.

While Chris Wilder’s side already have many options upfront, plus they cannot offer European football to the Spanish footballer.
