Both Wolves and Everton want to sign Sevilla star Lucas Ocampos

Premier League clubs Wolves and Everton want to hire the services of Sevilla star Lucas Ocampos as the forward continues his impressive performances for the La Liga side, as per the Daily Star

The 26-year-old has been impressive for the Spanish side this season, with 17 goals and five assists to his name in 43 league and cup appearances. The Argentina international is rated at £45million.

He started his senior career at River Plate and went on to play for big clubs like Monaco, Marseille, and Milan.

Wolves, who were knocked out of the Europa League quarter-finals after Ocampos headed a late goal, also want to get the forward’s signature, as are Everton and a host of other European clubs.

The player joined the Seville based club in July 2019 for an undisclosed fee, signing a five-year contract with them.

But now he seems to be moving again, with the Wanderers viewing him as a replacement for Adama Traore, who could be snapped up by Liverpool or Manchester City.

The 26-year-old may not have the speed or strength of Traore, but he can play out wide or upfront and can be deadly in the air.

He seems to be a good fit for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, but they face competition for the player from Everton.

The Argentine footballer could be tempted to join the Toffees to work under a veteran manager like Carlo Ancelotti.

The clubs face a fight as both cannot offer European football to the player.
