Chelsea are eager to sell Tiemoue Bakayoko as they have slashed the asking price for their midfielder, as per The Sun.
The 25-years-old, who spent the previous two campaigns out on loan at two different clubs, has been told that he has no future at the London club.
Now the Blues have greatly reduced the asking fee for the player in order to tempt AC Milan to hire him.
The Pensioners signed the French footballer for around £40 million from Monaco in 2017 as the club’s first signing under the reign of Antonio Conte.
Despite being a hugely expensive signing, Bakayoko failed to impress everyone with his performances in his first season at Stamford Bridge, and so he was permitted to join Milan on loan in the summer of 2018.
At the end of his loan spell, the Italians could have triggered the option of a permanent £32million deal, however, they opted not to avail that option.
And even when Frank Lampard replaced Maurizio Sarri as the new manager, there was still no place for the midfielder in the first team, and so he was loaned out to Monaco.
The 25-year-old failed to impress again and so the French club didn’t make the move permanent.
And now with players like N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Ross Barkley and Matteo Kovacic in the team, there seems to be no room for the French footballer.
So far, he has made 43 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions, scoring three goals and creating three assists.
