Rangers on the verge of signing Anderlecht player Kemar Roofe

Rangers are on the verge of securing the signature of Kemar Roofe as they are in advanced talks with Belgian side Anderlecht, as per Inside Futbol

The 27-year-old started his career at West Brom and after spending several loan spells at different clubs, he signed with Oxford United and soon joined Leeds in July 2016.

He spent three seasons with the Whites, racking up 122 total appearances with 33 goals and 14 assists to his name.

Anderlecht secured his services last year for around €6 million, but his injury issues affected his time at the Belgian club where he managed to score only six goals in 13 appearances.

The Brussels based club are now prepared to sell the forward who just arrived last year at the club, and are reportedly in advanced negotiations with the Scottish giants Rangers.

The Gers are scouring the market for a centre-forward and Roofe is said to be a good fit for them.

Steven Gerrard wants to add more attacking options and now they are reportedly on the verge of securing the signature of the 27-year-old.

The forward will pen a four-year deal with the Scottish giants if an agreement is reached.
