Arsenal making an offer for Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha this summer seems less likely to happen because of the rise of Bukayo Saka, according to The Sun’s report.
The 27-year-old’s future at the Eagles is looking to be a key talking point during the summer window, and as per the Sun’s report, the midfielder is desirous to leave Selhurst Park soon.
The report further says that Palace are ready to sell their forward for £30 million which is a huge reduction from £70 million they were demanding last summer.
However, the Gunners do not look interested in his services this time.
This is because of Saka’s emergence at the Emirates last season where he impressed everyone with his performances.
The 18-year-old was extraordinary in a variety of roles for the Gunners, scoring four goals and making 11 assists in 39 total appearances.
If Mikel Arteta is working with a limited budget, then it seems prudent to not pursue the former Manchester United player this summer.
Saka is far younger than the Ivory Coast international, but still, the English footballer struck the same number of goals last season while his assists tally were more than double than the Palace forward.
