Wolves have entered the transfer race to hire Sunderland youngster Daniel Neil who has also sparked interest from Leeds United and Newcastle, as per Football Insider.
Phil Parkinson’s side will be playing in League One once again, which means the club’s young players could get some opportunity to play in the first team and display their skills.
However, Neil could be leaving the Stadium of Light before making his competitive debut as he has sparked a transfer interest from a trio of Premier League clubs.
The report suggests that the 18-year-old has been on the radar of both the Whites and the Magpies for a while now, but now the West Midlands side have also entered the transfer race to hire the midfielder’s services and they are reportedly planning to beat the aforementioned pair to his signature.
The youngster was regularly featured for the U23 side of the club before the pandemic suspended football across Europe.
If we were to believe the latest report, then we might not see him playing for Sunderland anymore as some of the top clubs are taking an interest in him.
If the midfielder decides to leave, then he should choose a club that makes his own progression and development as a top priority.
