According to a Goal report, Barcelona player Arturo Vidal is close to signing for Inter Milan who have long been the admirers of the 33-year-old.
The midfielder joined the Camp Nou side in the summer of 2018 from Bayern Munich and so far has earned 66 La Liga appearances for the club, with 11 goals to his name too.
He has also earned 115 caps for Chile, scoring on 28 occasions for the national side.
Rejoining Serie A, where he previously played for Juventus, has been talked about in the media in many transfer windows, and Inter have always been at the front of interested sides in hiring the services of Vidal.
But now the Nerazzurri are close to getting their target as he is reportedly in the process of finalizing a move to the San Siro Stadium.
The 33-year-old has been working away from the Catalans’ main camp for some days, as he waited on confirmation from the Italian outfit that they were working to get a deal done.
The experienced midfielder is now going to Italy to complete a move that will reportedly cost the San Siro side just €500,000 plus future add-ons.
Vidal started his senior career at Colo-Colo and after a stint at Bayer Leverkusen, he landed a move to Juventus where he clocked up 171 appearances in all competitions for the Old Lady, smashing 48 goals and creating 25 assists. He also racked up 79 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern Munich during his three years with the Bavarians.
