Leeds are reportedly in talks with French side Toulouse for signing their talented midfielder Manu Kone.
According to a report from RMC Sport, the West Yorkshire side are interested to hire the services of the young player, but it is said that Argentine boss Marcelo Bielsa hasn’t yet given the green signal.
The report mentions Italian outfit AC Milan who are also credited with an interest in the 19-year-old.
It is thought that the Whites have turned their attention to the French youngster after failing to sign Conor Gallagher whose services have been hired by West Brom on a loan deal.
The France U19 international is supposedly available for around £14 million by the Ligue 2 side. If any club meets such a hefty fee, then Kone would become the most expensive signing in the history of Ligue 2.
It seems clear that the 19-year-old has a lot of potential, and has already stolen the headlines with the French U18s. However, he still looks to be a risk for the Whites at £14 million.
Toulouse suffered relegation at the end of last season, which means that the youngster has had the experience of playing at the top level of football. However, playing in the Premier League would be a wholly different challenge if he manages to land a move to England.
