Leeds United want to sign Ukrainian player Ruslan Malinovskyi

Leeds United want to hire the services of Ruslan Malinovskyi as the Whites look to bolster their ranks this summer, according to The Telegraph.

The West Yorkshire side have made a positive start to life in the top flight. They claimed their first Premier League victory of the new season on Saturday as they outclassed Fulham 4-3 at Elland Road.

However, the scoreline suggests that they need to improve a couple of areas as they enter the last stages of the transfer window.

And despite netting seven in two league games, Argentine boss Marcelo Bielsa is keen to bolster the attacking midfield area.

The Telegraph further says that the Whites have not been able to reach an agreement for Rodrigo De Paul, and now they are eyeing a move for the Atalanta midfielder.

It is said that he is available for hire at around £20 million by the Serie A side.

The 27-year-old joined Atalanta in the summer of 2019 and enjoyed a good first campaign in Italy. He smashed eight goals and created five assists for the Italian outfit, while he earned nine Champions League appearances.

Compared to De Paul, the Ukraine international comes with a much lower transfer fee, and that’s why the player is on the radar of the Peacocks this window.
