Udinese player Rodrigo De Paul has indicated that he is keen to join Leeds United as he replied to a fanzine on Twitter, as per The Boot Room.
The 26-year-old has been linked with the Whites for a little while this window, and according to The Telegraph report last month, he was the top midfield target of the Peacocks.
He was said to be valued at least £25 million. However, the West Yorkshire side are not the only club who are interested to hire the services of the Argentine.
According to a Tuttomercatoweb report, he had turned down the offer to join Russian side Zenit Saint Petersburg, and it was suggested that the player may be waiting for a move to another Serie A side.
However, it looks now that he is interested to join Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
A Leeds fan asked for an update on the 26-year-old to The Square Ball on Twitter, and the fanzine replied that it looks he is interested to move to Elland Road but the two clubs now need to reach an agreement for the transfer.
De Paul responded with a ‘Yes’ and further included a fingers-crossed emoji but deleted the tweet after a short while.
It remains to be seen whether the two clubs reach an agreement and the Argentine ends up at Elland Road. However, it seems that the Whites supporters have got an insight into what the player himself feels about the move to England.
